After my last post I realized I didn’t get any shots of Karsynn. So yesterday at Kennedy’s Halloween party I captured a few cute pictures. She slept through 1/2 of the party but had a blast once she woke up.
Southern Bell and Prom Queen
Up until this year I have gotten away with picking out the costumes for Halloween. Last year Kailey and Kennedy gave me heck for not letting them be princesses. I told them next year I’d let them pick out whatever they wanted. I was dreading the princess costume just because there always seems to be an abundance of little princesses. But I had to keep my word. They made me proud, the dresses they picked are super cute! They got to dress up in them for our ward party last night, they felt pretty special!
Picasa
Can I just say I LOVE picasa! After church yesterday we took a few pics, plugged it into picasa, and a few minutes later this is what i came up with. Yes, me, not my computer guru husband, but me!
No more training wheels!
Well this weekend was a milestone weekend in the Glasgow household. Both Kailey and Kennedy got their training wheels taken off their bikes. I started with Kennedy and it only took a few times down the street and she was off. Soon after she was doing turns and trying to figure out where her limits were. She still needs help getting started but she’ll get it.
Kailey was next and she was just as fast at learning how to get going. She was even practicing turning circles. She can even start by herself. They were amazing. Way to go girls!
Here are some photos of the happening.

My Crime Scene
So every morning I have been making a juice (see recipe below). This morning while I started to drink mine, Kendyl started to cry. I picked her up and she kept grabbing for it, so I decided I could share. I have been putting off starting her on solids just because it’s so time consuming. They say to start solids anytime between 4-6 months and she is barely 4 months, so I am hoping to start more on the later side than the early one. Anyway since my juice is 100% fruit and veggie I figured it couldn’t hurt to share a bit. Since it was her 1st time trying something new I thought I’d take a couple of pictures. After the first few shots I spilled the juice. Barrett saw my photos and suggested that I be smart with my post. Since it looked like a crime scene he thought I should post the CSI pictures seeing if anyone could solve this mess.
While cleaning I noticed my wash cloth was green and not red like the juice was. There was tons of spinach in the juice, but the beet overpowered the color in the juice, but I guess the spinach won in the wash cloth.
Juice
2 apples
2 pears
1 beet
2 carrots
1 handful of grapes
Blend
1 banana
4 spinach cubes (puree spinach and freeze in ice cube trays)
1 handful of cantaloupe cubes (cubed and frozen)
Juice all the fruits and veggies. Put one cup of the juice into blender, add banana, spinach, and cantaloupe. Blend till cubes are completely blended. Slowly add the rest of the juice.
It’s a winner for the kids and you! Tastes great and the kids love the red color. Knowing that they are getting all their fruits and veggies in one drink, is always assuring to a parent!
Biking
The girls and I went to visit my mom today and when we turned up her street we saw her and grandma riding their bikes. The girls wanted to hop in the baskets. I followed along trying to drive and take pictures (hence the blurry pics). I thought it was the cutest thing. Every since my grandparents moved in with my mom, she has worked super hard trying to get them to enjoy some physical activity. It’s been fun to see them walking, swimming, doing stretches on the ball, and now biking!
